about

A revisiting of Drowning Pool Music's 1985 release "Romans". Written as a response to the global pandemic and lock downs of 2020, this release seemed more pertinent, and timely (if not prophetic), than ever. Edem sent Sandra Ban a list of questions to base her words around. One of these was "Are You Afraid?' and "Do you see this as government over reach?". She replied in her inimitable style: "No, absolutely, I'm not afraid", and "Freedom is a punk philosophy" Classic. Brett wrote the beautiful MMXX on electric 12 String bass. As a footnote, Sandra never hears the music before she sends her beautiful words. The cadence and delivery always match the emotion of the songs perfectly. Magic. A celebration of freedom and the people of the World. "Why Do You Doubt It?!"
